The term 'Performance' relates to the fact that with less seam taping, no flash lining and limited 5mm panel use the wetsuit becomes more flexible and lighter. It may not be as warm as other wetsuits with the loose description '5/3' but it is a great autumn or late spring 'suit for here (North Wales).  You may get through winter with the addition of a hooded vest, boots and gloves..
